Short Description
We are seeking an IT Project Manager with software development and business analyst experience to provide project management for application development, policy development, change management, and support planning solutions. The ideal candidate must have 7+ years working with SDLC methodology (Waterfall and Agile); 7+ years of supporting IT development projects; and 3+ years of developing business requirements, functional specifications, and user manuals for medium to large sized projects.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- Active PMI PMP Certification
- Active Safe or Agile Certification
- 7+ years of experience managing or participating in IT development projects
- 7+ years of experience with SDLC methodology (Waterfall and Agile)
- 7+ years of experience with strong verbal and written communication skills
- 7+ years of experience with MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- 5+ years of experience project planning, scheduling, tracking, and coordinating
- 5+ years of experience preparing cost and effort estimates
- 5+ years of experience with preparing quality deliverables
- 3+ years of experience utilizing status and presentation skills
- 3+ years of experience developing business requirements, functional specifications, and user manuals
- 3+ years of experience developing process flows and diagrams
- 3+ years of experience supporting web application development
- 3+ years of experience supporting cloud environment solutions
- 2+ years of experience creating presentations using provided templates
- 2+ years of experience applying knowledge of databases, data sets, and/or data warehouses
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- Master degree
- AWS Certification
- 3+ years of experience developing user stories, wireframes, and use cases

Complete Description
We are seeking an IT Project Manager with software development and business analyst experience to provide project management for application development, policy development, change management, and support planning solutions. The ideal candidate must have 7+ years working with SDLC methodology (Waterfall and Agile); 7+ years of supporting IT development projects; and 3+ years of developing business requirements, functional specifications, and user manuals for medium to large sized projects.
The IT Project Manager will be tasked to:
- Apply project management best practice to manage and contribute to application development, policies development, change management, IT systems development, and support planning solutions
- Receive direction and priorities from Senior Leadership
- Create, plan, maintain, and track the project team schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Understand the client’s business requirements and business process flows
- Document current state/future state processes and translate them into comprehensive, accurate, and quality requirements/specifications
- Present deliverables on time and under budget
- Obtain sign-off(s)
- Communicate effectively with Clients and IT staff on requirements and solutions
- Provide suggestions for improvement during the development stage to ensure the client’s business needs are met
- Apply conceptual knowledge of business and technology processes to solve complex operations and/or procedural problems
- Evaluate requirements/data collected through Interviews, business process analysis, surveys, and/or JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions
- Oversee, develop, document, and execute test cases and scripts
- Oversee and/or coordinate UAT Testing with the business users
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and accuracy
- Track, document, and remediate project issues and risks
- Prepare and delivery weekly status reports
- Plan, document, prepare, and deliver milestone deliverables
- Document and manage any change requests related to the working project
- Assist with the introduction of any new technology tools, templates, policies, procedures, and/or best practices
- Complete paid training and obtain required certification
- Other tasks as necessary
