Short Description
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with software development project team experience to support requirements elucidation, analysis, documentation, diagramming, training, and testing. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years working with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile); 3+ years of supporting IT development projects; and 2+ years of developing business requirements, functional specifications, and/or user manuals.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with strong verbal and written communication skills
- 5+ years of experience with MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- 3+ years of experience working on IT development projects
- 3+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining requirements documentation
- 3+ years of experience with authoring quality deliverables
- 2+ years of experience gathering requirements through various means
- 2+ years of experience utilizing status and presentation skills
- 2+ years of experience developing business requirements, functional specifications, and/or user manuals
- 1+ years of experience developing process flows and diagrams
- 1+ years of experience developing user stories, wireframes, and use cases
- 1+ years of experience creating documentation using provided templates
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- Master degree

Complete Description
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with software development project team experience to support requirements elucidation, analysis, documentation, diagramming, training, and testing. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years working with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile); 3+ years of supporting IT development projects; and 2+ years of developing business requirements, functional specifications, and/or user manuals.
The IT Business Analyst will be tasked to:
- Create and maintain relevant documentation (e.g., web content, test cases, diagrams, user guides, presentations, training manuals, requirements, process flows, etc.).
- Work closely with developers and management to ensure with project goals and deadlines
- Be a friendly and effective communicator to interact with Dantech Team Members and Clients.
- Provide excellent customer service, crisp and meaningful communication, documentation, and high quality deliverables.
- Eager to learn, to complete assigned training, to take direction from Senior Team Members, to deliver quality, and to be flexible regarding approaches, and strategies.
- Research and analyze scenarios using provided sources of information
- Manage and appropriately escalate: delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with solution development initiatives
- Analyze, plan, and develop requirements documents (both functional and technical), build process/data models, develop procedures, and contribute to functional and technical documentation
- Create use cases, user stories, wire frames, mockups, and diagrams
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results
- Participate in agile events and ceremonies
- Conduct user testing and document defects
- Create user training documentation and facilitate end user training
- Support production issues
- Convey a high level of understanding in the areas of operational resilience and scale
- Support internal projects and follow office policies
- Complete paid training and obtain required certifications
- Other tasks as necessary
