Short Description
Dantech is seeking an Entry Level Front End Developer to play an integral role in the delivery of solutions required to continue providing high quality service to our clients. This role will transform communicated needs and requirements into user-friendly, responsive, and appealing interactive web and mobile applications. The Front End Developer will develop, document, test, and deliver internally and externally facing software that adheres to industry and Dantech best practice and that satisfies delivery goals.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in IT (or associated field) or 4 years of professional IT development experience
- 2+ years of UI design, wireframes, and/or mockups
- 2+ years of Javascript
- 2+ years of HTML5
- 2+ years of CSS3
- 2+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 1+ years of Bootstrap
- 1+ years of responsive web design concepts and approaches,
- 1+ years of using MS Visual Studio Code (VSC)
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- AWS Certified Developer
- 1+ years of running or supporting applications on AWS
- 1+ years of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

Dantech is seeking an Entry Level Front End Developer to play an integral role in the delivery of solutions required to continue providing high quality service to our clients. This role will transform communicated needs and requirements into user-friendly, responsive, and appealing interactive web and mobile applications. The Front End Developer will develop, document, test, and deliver internally and externally facing software that adheres to industry and Dantech best practice and that satisfies delivery goals.
The Entry Level Front End Developer will be tasked to:
- Become a highly valued, contributing member of the Dantech Team
- Be courteous, kind, constructive, eager to learn, reliable, and professional at all times
- Adhere to all Dantech policies and protocols
- Be flexible and adaptable as technical and operational requirements do change
- Learn quickly and document/update documentation accordingly
- Complete assigned training and/or exercises, within requested timeframes
- Obtain technical accreditations and certifications, as assigned, within requested timeframes
- Become a Subject Matter Expert by reading and leveraging existing Dantech project documentation
- Adhere to Dantech technology standards and practices
- Develop high quality code that meets all technical and performance requirements
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain scripts and UI code
- Accept feedback graciously and resolve to address issues or concerns
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain reusable UI components
- Implement provided style guides as requested
- Extensively unit test code and scripts
- Participate in solution reviews to ensure work is appropriately designed and effectively tuned for platform performance and client expectation
- Contribute to the overall quality of the Dantech Team solutions deliveries
- Implement consistent, resilient, secure, and scalable solutions
- Deliver solutions with accompanying assets (i.e., Confluence page, GitHub code) on time
- Participate in agile ceremonies and events
- Update agile boards as required
- Complete weekly timesheets and expense reports
- Support the Dantech project manager in preparing statuses, presentations, or other deliverables
- Support internal projects and office functions
- Complete additional tasks, as requested
