The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture (PDA) is seeking a .NET Developer to provide technical and architectural leadership for the PAIRS project. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of developing information technology solutions, 5+ years with architectural design, and 5+ years with Microservices.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience developing information technology solutions
- 5+ years of experience with architectural design
- 5+ years of experience with Microservices
- 5+ years of experience with C#
- 5+ years of experience with ASP.Net Core 3.1 (and higher)
- 5+ years of experience with Visual Studio 2022
- 5+ years of experience with Entity Framework (code first/database first)
- 5+ years of experience creating tables, developing stored procedures, encrypting data (Microsoft SQL Server 2019)
- 5+ years of experience developing and consuming Web APIs and shared services
- 5+ years of experience using Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- 5+ years of experience managing work items and source code using Azure DevOps
- 5+ years of experience using excellent communication skills
Desired Skills/Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of experience setting up and running SAST code scans using Veracode
- 5+ years of knowledge of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture (PDA) is seeking a .NET Developer to provide technical and architectural leadership for the PAIRS project. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of developing information technology solutions, 5+ years with architectural design, and 5+ years with Microservices.
The .NET Developer will be tasked to:
- Use Visual Studio 2022, C#, ASP.NET Core 3.1 (and higher), and Microsoft SQL server
- Design and build new web-based applications and microservices that adhere to the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center coding standards
- Comply with the Commonwealth’s Digital Accessibility Policy
