The State of New Jersey’s Office of Information Technology (NJOIT) under the Judiciary is seeking a Bootstrap Web Developer to assist with day-to-day content updates and projects in the web environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery.

The Bootstrap Web Developer will be tasked to:

• Assist with day-to-day content updates and projects in the web environment
• Work independently and be able to ask questions and seek clarification
• Maintain, support, and develop internal and external websites
• Utilize HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JSON technologies
• Respond to work requests from managers and staff in many departments
• Respond to requests from senior management and provide creative solutions to unique issues
• Work with in-house web team staff to ensure that standards and best practices are being followed
• Provide knowledge transfer to staff members and management
• Work quickly and accurately on all websites
• Analyze work requests and build or modify web pages as required
• Successfully unit test their work and the team’s work when required
• Participate with the business analysts and/or users in system testing
• Demonstrate a strong background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis
• Communicate information to both technical and non-technical professionals
• Understand the principles of web design and development
